This is my favorite happiness quote because it helped and guided me in my search for the meaning of my life and gave me wisdom to reflect on things that really make me happy.

In my 30 years of existence, I may have not come full circle but I can say I know what makes me happy and I know that it is not something that I have to look for. Because happiness is something that is found within. It is valuing one's self, loving one's self for only this you will attain inner peace and you will be a source of light, hope and love for others.

Happiness for me is also a choice. I choose to be happy in spite of adversities for without them I will not be able to gain strength. And I say it with utmost humility because I don't credit myself for it. It is with God's blessing and grace that I was able to overcome those experiences and grow from them.

I may not be triumphant in all of them but I gain wisdom and it guided me to be able to have that certain balance in life, which is also crucial for one's happiness. Knowing your strength, weaknesses, priorities and valuing others, not just family and friends but strangers alike.
