My all-time favorite holiday quote is,

"Merry Christmas, movie house! Merry Christmas, Emporium! Merry Christmas, you wonderful old Building and Loan!"

Like many people, I watch (and have watched every Christmas of my life) the classic film 'It's a Wonderful Life.'

As much as I love the quote about "Every time a bell rings an angel gets its wings," I don't feel that it has much to do with Christmas itself.

I chose the quote when George Bailey runs through Bedford Falls instead, because Christmas is a time when I feel so happy I could wish everything a Merry Christmas (without the whole ordeal of seeing what it would be like if I wasn't born).
