My favorite Biblical quote comes from Psalms 118 verse 24.

"This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it."

There have certainly been days in my life that I was glad to see come to an end but I try to be thankful for the fact that I had even the bad days to live.

My mother, who died this past February, was sick almost all of my life. From the time I was about 10 years old she was in and out of the hospital.

I am sure there were many, many days she didn't feel any joy but she always, always found a reason to smile and be glad that she had all the days she had even though too many of them were filled with pain.

This is the day which the Lord hath made and I will rejoice and be glad in it!
